I begin with a thorough health care assessment and discussion of your needs. Then using TCM diagnostics, I develop a personalized coaching strategy to support your goals. I love coaching people, learning about their journey and guiding them along their way to a more joyful and healthier life!

DIETETICS

Using food as medicine - I teach people how to eat for their specific constitution and advise about supplements that could fill in any nutritional gaps. We know that nutrition is one of the building blocks of health, so we start here for most issues.

HERBOLOGY

Herbology is similar to dietetics, but stronger and more targeted since we are working with herbs. Once your diagnosis is clear, I may prescribe an herbal formula to bring your body back into balance.

I love helping people resolve any health challenges, but have been most successful working with:

  • chronic issues like asthma, allergies, gut health imbalances

  • sleep regulation

  • hormone imbalances and fertility

  • mental emotional imbalances: stress relief; managing anxiety, panic attacks, depression

My health coaching program consists of an initial consultation addressing your health concerns + monthly check-ins. I recommend committing 2-3 months to your healing journey. I will create a customized program that includes recipes, individualized herbal formulas, and nutritional protocols.

About

Layla Luciano is a lifelong vegan athlete and a personal trainer and that has been on the NYC fitness scene for 14 years. She has been a master instructor at Barry's Bootcamp and SLT; starred on Bravo TV's Workout New York; created programming for and been a master instructor at The Sweat Shed; created her own classes for Lifetime Athletic; and co-founded PACT Park Kickboxing.

In addition to personal training, Layla is a pro wrestler and a dedicated martial artist of over 28 years with training in karate, kickboxing, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
